Why is it Important

utility relocation, and construction of the projects below. Two drainage projects have been completed, two are in construction, and the last project will enter into construction this coming spring and summer.
Completed Projects:

SE 3rd and A Installed new collection system and covered the cost to increase capacity in the City U area. This was funded with Street Bonds as a part of the Main Street Improvements.
Status-Project completed.

SW 7th and C Lateral Extended the collection system and added curb and gutter.
Status-Project completed.

Little Osage Tributary 2 Phase 2 Consisted of channelization improvements to upper portions of the tributary, with bridge improvements along SW A St, S Main, and Benton St.
Status-Project completed Fall 2024.
Under Construction:

SW 10th and F Collection System Replace the pipes at the lowest elevation possible from SW 8th to SW 5th St. Enclose the open channel through the Park between SW C St and SW D St. Remove the old wooden bridge in the park. Installing 1280' of 48" pipe to drain the church parking lot to Osage Creek and extend the collection system to drain 25 houses.
